Updated October 16, 2026. Track Standards (trackandfieldstandards.com) is run by Preferred Recruit.
What we collect when you use the site
- What you search, without your name. When you search the standards, pick an event, a grade or a state, open a school or an athlete's results, or see one of our evaluation offers, we save that action with a random ID stored in your browser. We use it to improve the site, to decide which guides and pages to build next, and to show offers that match the event you're looking at.
- Your recent searches, in your own browser. Your last event, mark and grade are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Page analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
What we never collect on this site
We don't ask for names, emails or phone numbers on the standards pages, we don't store IP addresses with search data, and we don't save what you type into the Recruiting AI chat. We don't sell data.
The free recruitment evaluation
The evaluation runs on Preferred Recruit's own site. When you click through, the link carries the event, grade and mark you searched so the evaluation can start where you left off. Anything you enter there is covered by Preferred Recruit's privacy terms on that site.
College coaches
Coaches who sign in to publish their standards give us their work email so we can verify they're on staff. While a coach is signed in, the site records which schools and published results they view, linked to their program, so we know how coaches use the site. Coach emails are never shown on the site.
Results data
College results come from public performance lists (TFRRS) and official school sites.
