How the money works
D2 coaches split a limited scholarship budget across the roster, so most offers are partial. D3 schools build aid packages from academic and need-based money, which can add up to more than a partial athletic scholarship somewhere else.
Don't skip the NAIA
The NAIA (161 programs on this site) offers athletic scholarships too, with fewer recruiting restrictions. See every division compared.
