TFRRS outdoor performance lists, explained

Quick answer

TFRRS performance lists rank college athletes' best marks in each event for a season, nationally and by conference. Where your mark would place on a conference list tells you how a coach in that conference sees it.

National lists vs conference lists

National lists show the very top of each division. Conference lists matter more for recruiting, because a coach recruits to score at their own conference meet.

How this site turns lists into standards

For schools without official standards, this site reads the conference's current season list. In NCAA D1 and D2, the 8th best mark becomes Target, the 15th Recruit and the 25th Walk-On. In NCAA D3 and the NAIA, Target is a top 8 mark and Walk-On the 40th.

Common questions

Is TFRRS official?

Are high school results on TFRRS?

Why does my mark rank differently indoors?

Indoor and outdoor are separate seasons with different tracks and some different events, so each has its own lists.
