Why the money depends on more than your time
Track scholarships are often split across several athletes, so a mark at the Recruit level can mean a partial offer, and academic aid can close the gap. The biggest programs ask for more than these medians, and many smaller D1 programs ask for less.
Common questions
Is there one D1 scholarship time for each event?
No. Each program sets its own, so the same time can earn an offer at one school and a walk-on spot at another.
Are these high school or college times?
College marks. For high school 1600m, 3200m and 300m hurdle times, use the conversions on the how-fast pages.
Do D1 schools give full rides in track?
Some do for top recruits, but most track scholarships are partial and combined with academic aid.
